India's Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri is currently in Dhaka on a day-long visit. It is the first high-level visit from New Delhi after a massive uprising ended Hasina's 15-year rule, and forced her to flee the country on August 5. Landing to a red-carpet welcome Monday morning, Misri was received by a senior Bangladesh Foreign Ministry official at the airport. Indian High Commissioner Pranay Verma was also present. Shortly after his arrival, Misri held talks with his Bangladeshi counterpart Mohammad Jashim Uddin, amid strained bilateral ties between the countries. NDTV's Gaurie Dwivedi gets you the latest.
