Indian pharma sector to grow in 2012, rupee fall to benefit: Biocon
Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, CMD, Biocon told NDTV Profit that they expect to see more mergers and acquisitions in pharmaceutical sector as strong growth projections for Indian markets is a big catalyst. On growth areas in the sector, he said that generics continue to be a very strong growth vertical and expects bio-generic segment to pick up. He added that rupee fall will benefit the sector.
