IndiGo Plans 1,000-Aircraft Fleet

Currently IndiGo has an order backlog of 430 aircraft but going forward the airline has big plans for Indian aviation market. Aditya Ghosh, president & whole-time director at IndiGo, told NDTV an interview that the airline in the near future plans to fly 40-50 million passengers a year and also aims to make a large transportation network in India.
