This week Music Hour draws upon the folk music from Slovenia. Known to have a rich history in the medieval ages, Slovenian music represents the very roots of culture in Eastern Europe. Featured on the show this week is Slovenian folk-rock musician Vlado Kreslin, who performed at the annual cultural fest of Sri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) with Sharat Chandra Srivastava, leader of the fusion band Mrigya. Kreslin has been performing and popularizing music from his land for over three decades now and as a result has carved a niche for himself and the folk music of the Slovene.
