Former media executive Indrani Mukerjea, who was rushed to Mumbai's JJ Hospital on Friday afternoon from the Byculla women's jail after she complained of "uneasiness", might have attempted suicide, sources in the police have said. Doctors attending to her say they are investigating whether Ms Mukerjea, who is accused of murdering her daughter, overdosed on prescription drugs.
