Indian universities and colleges add millions of graduates to the existing workforce every year but unfortunately very few are found suitable to be hired by the industry. According to a recent report by The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India, barring those who graduate from top management colleges like the IIMs, only 7% of India's management graduates are actually employable. Most end up earning less than Rs 10,000 a month and that is if at all they find placements.
