Inflation finally eases, slightly
For the first time in almost a year, Inflation has actually shown a decline. While the WPI index continues to be at a 13-year high, prices of more than 390 items in the inflation basket of 435 items, holding steady or showing a decline. Inflation for the latest week came in at 11.89% versus 11.91% a week ago. On a week on week basis, the wholesale price index rose just 0.1% and primary articles index rose 0.6%.
