Inflation in the economy continues to inch higher with each passing week with prices of everyday goods rising at the highest rate seen in more than 13 years. Inflation for the week ended June 21 rose to 11.63 per cent as compared to 11.42 per cent last week. The pressure continues to come from all fronts with primary article prices up 0.5 per cent compared to last week. Food products rose 0.9 per cent and food article prices were up 0.7 per cent.
