As India remains on the lookout for local energy supply solutions, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has pushed for the use of green hydrogen as an indigenous solution for mobility. NDTV's Science Editor Pallava Bagla visited the world's highest green hydrogen plant being made by the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) in Leh, Ladakh. A unique futuristic project, the plant uses solar energy to produce green hydrogen by breaking water, which is then used as fuel in buses. The green hydrogen-powered buses will also be seen in Delhi soon.
