Expressing sadness on the devastation caused by floods in Kerala, actor Shruti Haasan said that it is not about only donating money, but also basic amenities like food, medicines and sanitary napkins. Talking about NDTV-Tata Sky #IndiaForKerala telethon's effort to rebuild three villages, Shruti Haasan said that plastic wastage must be avoided as that causes water logging. The actor said that it was inspirational to see the people of Kerala uniting and helping each other during the floods.
