Instant Triple Talaq Superseding Fundamental Rights?
Noted lawyer and BJP spokesperson Nalin Kohli made it amply clear that the issue of triple talaq shouldn't be viewed through the prism of politics since the BJP didn't go to the Supreme Court. The moot question, according to him, is the question of whether a person belonging to a certain religion would have lesser rights than others. Currently, the Supreme Court is looking at the crucial issue of whether instant triple talaq is fundamental to Islam.
