"Insult Of Cops, Intelligence Teams": Union Minister Counters UP Encounter Criticism
Gangster Atiq Ahmed's son Asad, wanted in the Umesh Pal murder case, was killed in an encounter by Uttar Pradesh police in Jhansi today. His co-accused Ghulam was also shot dead. Union Minister SP Singh Baghel questioned how people who were not a witness to encounter were criticising it from the comfort of their armchair in television studios. He also questioned the law and order situation during the Akhilesh Yadav rule in the state.
