Interest rates: Banks await cues from RBI
Deposit rates on money parked by corporates with banks have come down further. During the last seven days before September 30 interest rates on deposits over a crore were earning as high as 9.75 to 9.95 per cent.Now the interest rates have fallen between 9-9.25 per cent, down by 70 to 75 basis points across sectors.
