Jos Buttler Sacrifices Ton As GT Thump DC To Claim Top Spot
Jos Buttler slammed an unbeaten 97 as GT crushed DC by seven wickets to claim top spot in the table. Buttler missed out on what would've been a record-equalling eighth ton in IPL. Apart from Buttler, Shrefane Rutherford Earlier, Axar Patel and Ashutosh Sharma played vital cameos to help DC post 203/8 in their IPL game against GT. Axar top-scored with a 32-ball 39 while Ashutosh blitz at the death, smashing 37 off just 19 balls. For GT, Prasidh Krishna was the standout bowler as he picked 4/41 from his quota. Earlier, Gujarat Titans skipper Shubman Gill won the toss and opted to bowl against Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2025 match on Saturday in Ahmedabad.
