Iran to free female US hiker, cites 'Islamic Compassion'
Iran said Thursday it will free Sarah Shourd, one of three Americans jailed, as an act of clemency to mark the end of Ramadan. Shane Bauer's mother, Cindy Hickey, said she was excited even if the hiker being freed isn't her son.
