Is BKC losing its sheen?
The most expensive deal in Bandra-Kurla, Mumbai is in trouble. Wadhwa Developer's purchase of commercial land at Rs 49,000 a sq ft in November last year made headlines but now the company seems close to defaulting on its payment of Rs 831 crores. It might have to let go off the land. Not just Wadhwa even Jet and Starlight's costly land purchases in BKC are said to be stuck because of lack of funds.
