Union minister Kapil Sibal today questioned the money spent in what he called Narendra Modi's "lavish" rallies when his party, the BJP, had campaigned so strongly against black money. "Mr Modi makes speeches from lavish stages. If you are so against black money, which is a good thing, you should also investigate where the 10-15 crores spent on stadiums is coming from," Mr Sibal said, taking on the BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate amid a raging battle over the legacy of Sardar Patel, one of India's founding fathers.
