"This data is prepared by the Heritage Foundation. They look at a whole bunch of indications in the US. From seeing what's the size of the public sector, to the size of state intervention in India. And they come up with how free are we economically. And I think that the point here is that we have increased our economic freedom, but we still remain, compared to so many other countries, relatively economically unfree. So that's the big takeaway. And what they also sort of show is that generally the more economically free countries are, the richer they tend to be. That is a rough conclusion based on all the data that they have done," investor Ruchir Sharma said.
