Is India no country for women?
AS the government readies to place a new anti-rape bill before the Parliament providing for stiffer punishment for crimes against women, the recent gang-rape of a Swiss woman in Madhya Pradesh is a grim reminder of ground realities. The comments of politicians pinning part of the blame on the woman and her husband only adds to the tragedy.
