Is there a lack of opportunities for women scientists?

At the Indian Science Congress in Bhubaneswar, more than 15,000 scientists from India and abroad are deliberating on how to make science more inclusive and the role of women in science. Ironically, in 99 years of this mega event, only four women have ever led the event. Today, women constitute only a small minority of the entire scientific community. So why are women missing from the laboratories? NDTV tries to find the answer.
