Ishrat Jahan encounter: Narendra Modi knew in advance?

Did Narendra Modi know about the Ishrat Jahan alleged fake encounter in advance? NDTV accesses the CBI status report which gives damning proof of calls made to Chief Minister Narendra Modi and the state home minister Amit Shah's residences hours before the encounter. In a heated debate on the issue, Gujarat government spokesperson Jai Narayan Vyas said that it's hypothetical to debate on an issue not in the public domain, and the CBI status report coming out is a leak in itself. Reacting to the status report, Congress General Seceretary Digvijaya Singh said that an IB official colluding with the Gujarat police is a serious issue and the CBI will not act politically.
