Ispat Industries forays into solar energy; to invest Rs 250 cr

Following the thrust given to solar power generation through the Jawaharlal Nehru Solar Mission, Ispat Industries has jumped the solar power bandwagon through a joint venture with US based Solar panel manufacturer Uni-Solar. The company will pump in Rs 250 crore in the venture to set up a manufacturing facility to produce second generation PV panels.
