Israel Begins Its Planned Military Offense In Rafah
Hours after Hamas accepted a ceasefire proposal mediated by Egypt and Qatar, Israel launched a military offensive seizing the Gazan side of Rafah. This move followed Israel's rejection to the ceasefire deal due to it not meeting the country's core demands. At least 23 Palestinians including six women and five children as young as three-years-old have been killed by Israeli airstrikes on Gaza's southernmost city where 1.4 million Palestinians were taking refuge.
