Gaza Suffers As Israel, Hamas Lock In Decades' Deadliest Escalations
NDTV is reporting from the ground in Israel's Ashkelon, a coastal town barely a few kilometres from the Gaza Strip from where the Hamas group is launching their strikes. Israel, caught by surprise on Saturday when a barrage of 5,000 rockets rained from the skies, has launched a massive retaliation against Hamas in Gaza, an Israel-blockaded coastal enclave. Israel is in control of supplies reaching Gaza and the Kerrem Shalom check-point is where all supplies have to go through to enter the Strip.
