Israel Resumes Gaza Ground Offensive, Donald Trump Eyes Zaphorizhhzia Power Plant

In today's episode of India Global, At least 70 Palestinians have been killed and dozens more wounded in Israeli airstrikes across Gaza, as Israel resumed its bombing campaign on the region. The Israeli military announced the continuation of ground operations in central and southern Gaza, following the collapse of a ceasefire that had largely held since January. This renewed offensive comes one day after more than 400 Palestinians were killed in airstrikes, marking one of the deadliest incidents since the conflict erupted in October 2023. The military also reported regaining control of the centre of the Netzarim Corridor. Meanwhile, Donald Trump told Volodymyr Zelenskyy that the US could own and run Ukrainian nuclear power plants as part of a ceasefire. The Ukrainian president said following their call that "we talked only about one power plant, which is under Russian occupation", referring to Zaporizhzhia, Europe's largest nuclear power station.
