In today's episode of India Global, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in Washington in a last ditch effort to negotiate a better trade deal...days after the US imposed 17% tariffs on Israel. Netanyahu is the first foreign leader to travel to Washington in attempt to negotiate trade pact with the PM meeting top US officials in Washington. This is the second meeting between the two leaders since Trump returned to the White House in January and comes after the resumption of hostilities in the Gaza Strip. Trump has pressed Tehran for a new deal on its nuclear programme, though little progress has been made...with widespread speculation that Tel Aviv, possibly with US help, might launch a military strike on Iranian facilities if no agreement is reached. NDTV's Rica Roy speaks with strategic affairs expert Brahma Chellaney and Director of the Centre for Israel Studies at OP Jindal Global Dr Khinvraj Jangid to discuss this and more.
