Sunil Gavaskar explains that while unanimous decisions of a committee usually should be accepted, in the case of the selection committee in Indian cricket, there is protocol to wait for BCCI's approval. This after Mohinder Amarnath said that selectors wanted MS Dhoni sacked before series in Australia but it was over-ruled by the Board.
