'It's a Personal Attack on Every Mumbaikar's Freedom': Shobhaa De to NDTV on Shiv Sena Protests
Writer Shobhaa De slammed protests by the Shiv Sena outside her residence in Mumbai as an "attempt to get publicity". The party, which co-governs Maharashtra, has criticised Ms De’s tweets objecting to the government’s order on primetime slots for Marathi films in multiplexes. "It is a personal attack on every Mumbaikar's freedom," she told NDTV.
