Even as many parts of the country are reeling under severe heat conditions, Chhattisgarh's Bilaspur has reached another level. The maximum temperature here touched 49.3 degrees Celsius on Monday, making it the season's highest. Till now, the highest here was almost 48 degrees, way back in 1988.
