J&K: Many defy separatists' poll boycott
It was a sight no one expected to see in the Jammu and Kashmir elections. There were not just long queues at polling booths, but also, not even a single shot was fired, either by security forces or militants. Long queues outside polling booths in the Kashmir Valley were hardly expected, given the poll boycott call by separatists.
