J&K national highway reopens
The Srinagar-Jammu highway was finally re-opened on Sunday after days of heavy snowing. Around 10 feet of snow had accumulated at Jawahar Tunnel, which connects the Kashmir Valley with the rest of the country. The Border Roads Organisation had been working in sub-zero temperature to get the highway back on shape. Traffic has been released from Jammu, but there are still some problems on some parts of the road.
