J&K Police: The battle within
The Jammu and Kashmir police fight a battle with its own people on its streets everyday. It is a mammoth challenge for this largely Muslim force. On one hand, they are fighting Muslim militants who have killed over 1,000 policemen since the early 90s and on the other their own enraged community often bitter about India's rule in Kashmir.
