J&K polls: 60% turnout in phase II
Sunday's election in Jammu and Kashmir was being held in the shadow of the weekend violence in which a 16-year-old boy died, when security guards fired on a pro-boycott rally. But, the violence did not keep away the voters by the end of the day the turnout was higher than what it was in the watershed election of 2002.
