J&K separatists to boycott poll
J&K separatist leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has been placed under house arrest, after he announced a march to Bandipore to ensure a poll boycott on the first phase of polling in the state on Monday. Most separatist leaders have been arrested for their anti-poll campaign, yet they seem defiant.
Separatists have decided to march to various district headquarters on each of the seven days of polling in J&K.
