Jabalpur Farmers Seek Solutions For Fertilizer Prices And New Agriculture Policy
Ahead of this year's Union Budget, farmers in Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh are emphasising the significant impact of soaring fertiliser costs on agricultural operations. According to some farmers, the high fertiliser prices have made farming activity unsustainable. A section of the farmers say, they want the government to address the issue of providing them subsidised electricity and water, crucial inputs for agricultural operations, and increase the funding under schemes like PM Kisan Samman Nidhi.
