Jaipur royal booked for negligent driving
The Jaipur Police on Sunday booked Rajmata Gayatri Devi's step grandson, Vijit Singh, for culpable homicide not amounting to murder for allegedly killing a student and injuring four others last week. The police had earlier arrested Singh but he was later released on bail. The move comes after Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot took strong exception to the alleged police leniency and ordered a reinvestigation into the case.
