Many people are still said to be trapped under the debris of a factory building that collapsed in Jalandhar on Sunday. The death toll meanwhile has gone up to six. The three-storey building, housing a blanket factory, collapsed in the Focal Point area of the city around midnight on Sunday. 60 people have been rescued from the accident site so far. Personnel from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and also from the Army are assisting local administration in rescue operations. Intermittent rain is, however, hampering their efforts.
