The renovated Jallianwala Bagh memorial was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi last week -- the project was carried out by the Archaeological Survey of India and NBCC. However, historians say the new memorial is a distortion of history of the site where British troops killed hundreds of Indians on April 13, 1919.
