In an exclusive interview to NDTV, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah says the only solution to the Kashmir situation is 'talking'. Speaking on the violence that marred the Srinagar parliamentary by-polls and killed eight people, Dr Abdullah said that he was confident the current government targeted and prevented the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference's loyal voters from carrying out their democratic duty. He further said that it was the government's failure which couldn't 'ensure voters' safety'.
