BJP's 3-Day Jan Ashirwad Yatra In Assam Ends
In Assam, the three-day Jan Ashirwad Yatra of the BJP ended on Monday. Union minister Sarbananda Sonowal crisscrossed the Upper Assam region, a BJP stronghold. Many in the party see this as the beginning of the BJP's first outreach for the bypolls that would eventually take place, particularly in Upper Assam seats where BJP has poached Congress MLAs to switch over.
