In West Bengal, today was a do or die day for the Congress. Six seats went to the polls. One of them is held by the Left and five by the Congress, seats that Congress won in 2009 in alliance with Trinamool, seats the Congress is desperate to hold on to or risk decimation in the state. And of those five seats, all eyes are on Jangipur, a seat that President Pranab Mukherjee won twice, a seat that his son Abhijit now holds but by an ultra slim margin of just 2,500 votes.
