Jawa Motorcycles is back and will be starting operations in India with three all-new motorcycles - Jawa, Jawa 42 and Jawa Perak. The brand will operate under the company Classic Legends Pvt Ltd., which is a subsidiary of the Mahindra Group, and will be competing against Royal Enfield. The Jawa and Jawa 42 share the same underpinnings using a 293 cc, liquid-cooled engine with single-channel ABS and more. The bikes borrow their design language from the original motorcycles and also pay homage to the bikes of the era gone by. The third bike is the Jawa Perak that is a factory custom bobber and uses a bigger engine and better mechanicals too. With prices starting at Rs 1.55 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), here's a look at the all-new Jawa motorcycles, scheduled for deliveries in 2019.
