Jawahar tunnel under avalanche threat
The road to the Jawahar Tunnel, the gateway to Kashmir, is under four feet of snow and there is about eight feet of snow on the mountains around it. It is this blockade that has left hundreds of travellers stranded some kilometres from the tunnel.
