Jayadev Galla, lawmaker of Telugu Desam Party initiated the discussion on the no-confidence motion in parliament on Friday. The TDP lawmaker representing Guntur in Lok Sabha kicked off the debate, stating four reasons why his party pushed for no-confidence motion. "Four reasons why TDP had brought no-trust vote are lack of fairness, lack of trust, lack of priority and lack of unbiased approach" towards Andhra Pradesh. Mr Galla ripped into the Narendra Modi government claiming that the Prime Minister did not keep any of the "assurances given" during the campaign in the run up to the 2014 general elections. The government "cannot fool all the people all the time" he said.
