JLL India's Ramesh Nair On Impact Of Demonetisation On Real Estate
In an interview with NDTV Profit, Ramesh Nair, COO-business and international director, JLL India, says stating that real estate prices will fall by 25–30 per cent is unfounded, totally baseless and wishful thinking. There will definitely be a negative impact on certain sectors and micro markets within the Industry where cash is extensively involved like land aggregation, secondary sales etc. However, the demonetisation also has numerous positives for the real estate industry, he adds.
