Thousands Eye Post Of Morgue Assistant In Bengal Amid Job Losses In Covid

As people struggle for survival amid loss of income and jobs due to the Covid pandemic, even the post of a morgue assistant now seems lucrative. A couple from Bengal's Howrah took the exam for the job at a state-run hospital in Kolkata with at least 2,000 others. Many of them are graduates and postgraduates for whom the salary is quite meagre.
