Journalists vulnerable in J&K
The killing of a photo journalist Ashok Sodhi in the Samba encounter on Sunday brings to light the vulnerability of journalists in Jammu and Kashmir. Ashok, a news photographer in Jammu, had been one of the first to reach the spot when he heard about the ongoing encounter. But a militant shot him in the head and this turned out to be the last assignment of his 20-year career.
