Joy ride rope snaps at Kolkata amusement park, several students injured

Several school students were injured, six seriously, when the connecting rope of a "swirl ride" snapped in a reputed amusement park, NICCO Park, at Salt Lake in Kolkata today. Deputy Commissioner (HQ) of Bidhannagar commissionerate Subrata Banerjee said that the six injured students, all minors, were admitted to the Calcutta Heart Research Centre.
