Jyoti Basu celebrates 93rd birthday
Veteran Marxist leader Jyoti Basu celebrated his 93rd birthday on Saturday by spending time with under-privileged children and reminiscing about his long innings in politics and public life. The CPI-M patriarch, who had earlier remarked that 'Marxists don't have birthdays', hosted street children, members of NGOs and celebrities at his residence since morning.
