The GDP figures for July-September showed the economy has grown 8.4% in the quarter on an annual basis, and 10.4% over the preceding quarter. Against a deep contraction (-7.4%) last year, the quarter-on-quarter improvements in private consumer and business demand were a respective 9% and 12%.
